"A lecturer, when explaining stress management to an audience, raised a glass of water and asked, 'How heavy is this glass of water?' Answers called out ranged from four ounces up to twelve. The lecturer replied, 'The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it. — Author Unknown Life was never meant to be a burden to be carried, but a current of grace designed to carry us. Unfortunately, it cannot lift us up if we insist on taking the weight of the world with us everywhere we go. So you see, in many ways, putting the burden down is not only an essential key to stress management, it is also a major key to mental weight control. May you always remember to leave the burden behind and ride the current home. And may you always be aware that you are loved beyond measure and a cherished blessing to me. Really very nicely illustrated the theory, 'how to be stress free',
I like the example as you given as per holding a glass...great.
It's rightly said in this article that we need to unburden ourself, but here is one thing important that how to unburden, if whole day we are carrying the same burden, then it'd be very difficult to unburden that, there is a technique called 'conscious sleep', in which we can give command to our subconscious mind, what ever positive things we want to happen in our life. I found this 'conscious sleep(yoga-nidra)' at yogawonders.com">http://www.yogawonders.com">yogawonders.com, you can explore it yourself, it's very easy but it's impacts are amazing.
